License Agreement - VectaHive

Overview

This License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the terms by which users of the VectaHive platform obtain the right to use photographic works ("Photos") that are made available through our website.

By purchasing a license to use any Photo from VectaHive, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not download or use any Photos from our platform.

License Types

VectaHive offers two types of licenses: Standard License and Extended License. The specific rights granted to you depend on the type of license you purchase.

Standard License

The Standard License grants you the right to use the Photo in the following ways:

Digital use: Websites, mobile applications, social media, email marketing, and other digital media.
Print use: Brochures, magazines, newspapers, books, flyers, and other printed materials with a circulation or print run of up to 10,000 copies.
Advertising and promotional use: Advertisements in any medium, including print, digital, and broadcast.
Film and video: Incorporation into films, videos, television programs, and other audiovisual productions.
Personal use: Personal projects, portfolios, and non-commercial use.

Limitations: The Standard License does not permit:

Use in products for resale (e.g., t-shirts, mugs, calendars, postcards, etc.).
Use in templates or items for resale (e.g., website templates, greeting card templates, business card templates, etc.).
Print runs exceeding 10,000 copies.
Incorporation into a logo, trademark, or service mark.

Extended License

The Extended License includes all the rights granted under the Standard License, plus:

Unlimited print runs with no restriction on the number of copies.
Use in products for resale (e.g., t-shirts, mugs, calendars, postcards, etc.).
Use in templates or items for resale (e.g., website templates, greeting card templates, business card templates, etc.).
Use in merchandise and promotional items for sale or distribution.

Limitations: The Extended License does not permit:

Incorporation into a logo, trademark, or service mark.
Redistribution or resale of the Photo as a standalone file.

License Terms

All licenses granted by VectaHive are:

Non-exclusive: VectaHive may license the same Photo to other customers.
Non-transferable: You may not transfer the license to another person or entity.
Worldwide: You may use the Photo anywhere in the world.
Perpetual: The license does not expire.

Prohibited Uses

Regardless of the license purchased, the following uses are strictly prohibited:

Using the Photo in any way that is defamatory, pornographic, obscene, immoral, infringing, or illegal.
Using the Photo in a way that depicts models or property in a negative or unfavorable light.
Using the Photo in sensitive contexts such as those involving sexual activity, substance abuse, physical or mental abuse, or serious health conditions without a clear disclaimer that the image is being used for illustrative purposes only.
Incorporating the Photo into a logo, trademark, or service mark.
Redistributing, sublicensing, or reselling the Photo as a standalone file.
Claiming ownership or copyright of the Photo.

Attribution

Attribution to the contributor or VectaHive is not required but is appreciated. If you choose to provide attribution, please use the format: "Photo by [Contributor Name] via VectaHive".

Intellectual Property

All Photos available on VectaHive are protected by copyright. The contributor who created the Photo retains the copyright and ownership of the Photo. When you purchase a license, you are purchasing the right to use the Photo as specified in this Agreement, not the Photo itself or its copyright.
