By accessing or using the VectaHive website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Use License

When you purchase a photo from VectaHive, you are granted a license to use the photo according to the specific license type you purchased (Standard or Extended). The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and worldwide.

Standard License: Allows you to use the photo in digital media (websites, apps, social media) and printed materials (brochures, magazines, books) with up to 10,000 copies/impressions. You cannot use the photo for resale products or in templates or items for resale.

Extended License: Includes all Standard License uses, plus unlimited copies/impressions, and allows use in products for resale, templates or items for resale, and merchandise.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the website, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the website and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

4. Contributor Submissions

If you are a contributor submitting photos to VectaHive:

  • You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize VectaHive to use all intellectual property rights in and to any photos you submit.
  • You retain ownership of your photos, but grant VectaHive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your photos in connection with the VectaHive service.
  • You are responsible for obtaining all necessary model and property releases for your photos.
  • VectaHive reserves the right to reject or remove any photo for any reason.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the website or any content obtained from the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Service. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Using the website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site.
  • Using any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the website for any purpose.
  • Introducing any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the website.
  • Using the website or its content in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

6. Payment and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our payment processor. Prices for photos are as listed on the website and are subject to change without notice.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable unless required by law. If you believe you have received a defective product, please contact our customer support within 7 days of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by VectaHive, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Neither VectaHive nor any person associated with VectaHive makes any warranty or representation with respect to the completeness, security, reliability, quality, accuracy, or availability of the website.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event will VectaHive, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the website, any websites linked to it, any content on the website or such other websites, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes to Terms of Service

We may revise and update these Terms of Service from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access to and use of the website thereafter.

Your continued use of the website following the posting of revised Terms of Service means that you accept and agree to the changes.
